I just wrote a poem [the one with the nice cute background] that made me cry. It's one that's deeply in my heart apparently. I wonder what everyone thinks it means or says to them? I always wondered what my artwork says to people... Like I can read a poem and I may not understand it the same way the person next to me does.
So let me know in comments what "Fight" says to you!
As for the other things, being in NY and not in CT anymore feels weird sometimes. I get giddy and excited one moment and sad the next. I miss friends but I'm grateful to be back with my family. I'll have to visit soon, have a few drinks with one of my friends and have some fun dancing. What about you guys? What's your idea of a fun time?
I'm also curious about getting views on my page. How would I go about doing that? One of my friends suggested sending them to groups, I've done that and gotten a few views, but not that many. I've wondered how people get 74k in a year. Are they doing something I'm not? Hm.
Also I apologize for not getting around to doing the request on my forum, I promise I'll get around to it. Just working on proportions and such so I can get it right. The way I'm doing it, it isn't coming out right so I've asked for some advice. One of my friends is in school to be an art teacher, so she's practicing teaching on me and I appreciate all the advice. I needed to go back to basics.
Kirara was the only drawing I had done that was even remotely good looking. Most of my artwork is done in under an hour. I'm fast, but I still need to work on some things.
Shading is a big thing for me. I'm not good at it. Though I can mimic a picture, it isn't easy for me to mimic shading because I don't understand it. I also suck at math. I understand things differently and get things mixed up easily. I promise I'm part blonde as my friends keep telling me. .-.
I definitely need to go Christmas shopping... And don't mention you don't believe in Christmas. It's the idea of giving someone a gift and expecting nothing back. I like to spoil my friends for their Level Up [Birthday] Days. It makes me feel good to see the smile on their faces.
That's why I bought my sister headphone/earmuffs. Pretty genius if you ask me. They detach from the cord so they can be regular earmuffs too. I like 'em.
Anyway... Anyone who has a request please let me know. Right now I'm doing sketches for free but anything completed [inked, shaded, or colored] I'm charging points.
Inked - Outlined in pen/sharpie, no pencil marks, clean. - 5 points.
Shaded - Pencil shading only. - 5 points.
Colored - Inked and colored with colored pencils - 10 points.
So request away guys! <3
